I am craving solid food. What should I do?
It is normal to feel hungry and crave solid food, especially when we are fasting for the first time.
Here are things we can do to avoid the craving:
- Do not be around people while they are eating
- Do not go near the kitchen or where you can smell food
- Watch the documentaries suggested. They will give your mind the strength to continue the fast.
- Sip on water
- Remember the oath we have taken together
If you still crave solid food, you can have a soup. Often times, the craving isn't so much for solid as it is for salt. You can have a clear soup first but if that doesn't suffice, you can have a denser soup. Please find the recipes here - https://youtu.be/RgKSQNgHAWk
